I did a search and couldn't find what I was looking for.
I know .357 Sig isn't a good round for plinking..(due to cost)...however, I would like to be able to run a few clips through it from time to time. Can anyone recommend an inexpensive, quality round? The gun is a Glock 32. Thanks |

Posted a link for GA Arms, but it needs to be "reviewed by a moderator", so it should be up soon. First time I've seen that on a discussion board.

I reload my own...what I did was grab all the .40 brass that was laying around the range...then I bought jacketed bullets...I forgot the brand...I had thousands of primers and I had the powder...so I think the total was under 10 cents a round...probably less...I resized and shaped all the .40 brass...I use a Dillon press

You may also want to consider getting a 40 cal. conversion barrel for your G32 so you can shoot cheap/plentiful 40 cal ammo.

Thx, O.C.
Speaking of reloading, it is actually cheaper to reload 357 SIG than it is .40. Use any cheap 9mm bullets with a tall enough base...usually FPs or other truncated cone bullets..just not round nose (too short of case/bullet gripping surface). 147s work well. Another tip: Run the 357 cases through a carbide .40 die for the main resize, then put them through the 357 dies. It eliminates the need for any case lube. |

Thanks for the replies fellas...this gives me several options.
The price from GA Arms looks pretty reasonable. Quote:
I wasn't planning on shooting the gun enough to justify buying the stuff to reload with but, it may come to that. Once again, thanks. JB |

You can just buy a barrel and slide like the other guy said. And the .40 cal will still fit in your .357 mag. I have a 15 round .40 cal in my 31C and it holds 16 +1. Or if you wanted to you could buy a 9mm barrel and slide but then you would have to buy clips for the 9 mill. All glock stuff is interchangable. Except .45 stuff. You just cant put .45 cal. stuff on a 9mm,.40, or .357 sig frame because the .45 cal. slide is larger than the other stuff.

Yea no problem. All the sub-compact stuff fits each other as do the compact and full size stuff.
I have a 31C my buddy has a 17 and a 22 slide and barrel. So between the 2 of us we pretty much have 3 guns. |
