Yea same here two guys came up to me at gas station and said the warehouse screwed up and gave them an extra unit.. Wanted 400, I told them I just have 80$ they said no, I was like ok peace then they said ok we'll take it still Works great

LOL...they do this in bank parking lots on Fridays and Saturdays because people are cashing their checks....Same old scam...left overs from a job cheap.......beautiful(heavy) speakers with nothing but a brick in a box with cheap cloth. IT"S NOT EVEN ILLEGAL!...unless there is an ordinance.

I know the one scam with the company selling cheap packaging tape and you get a free radio has been around a while too. I get that phone call every year.

lol, this is funny cause I really never heard of this scam. I did have one of those guys come by my house like 2 months ago. I work for a contracted and have to many home theater systems, we are selling them 80% off yada yada, no thanks! Kind of funny after reading this thread!

couple guys tried that with me back in '88
water cooled speakers, they didnt weigh as much as the empty boxes!

Current: Meat and Seafood out of a pickup truck. Steaks look nice and thick, but since they are frozen and pumped up with water they really are shit
Last summer: Tractor trailer of furniture from Carolinas, would pull in the neighborhood on weekend and get all the milfs out there salivating for a deal. Real crap.
Magazine Subscriptions; Poor innocent 20 something selling the magazines to help pay for medical school. Overpriced crap

As I tell my kids, no one is knocking on the door to hand you a prize. They all want some of what you have
